Big Nate is a comedy comic book about a boy called Nate that causes trouble everywhere.  The book is about him living his life in sixth grade. This book is for 9 and over. It is entertaining and hilarious with good vocabulary. The writing is short and clear. It's not too complicated and easy to understand.
The writing style of this book is a mix of comic panels and illustrations and text. This mixture makes the book feel lively. The drawings are really good and they make reading the book more interesting. In particular, the characters have amazing facial expressions. The illustrations don't take too much space away from the book and they add to the story.
The story should end earlier and the book should be a bit shorter. The book could use a little more illustration and a little less blank space on the page.
I would recommend this book to people that like comedy and serial books. There are quite a few books in the Big Nate series. I highly recommend this to any readers. The jokes are funny and the pictures are nicely drawn.
